Plas-T-Cote issue

Further to the above, I was contacted by Carac and thy couldn't have been more helpful! We agree that there must have been something wrong with the product. They have 1 litre tins in stock that are obviously liquid rather than the "plasticine" consistency that mine was. Hopefully when they get more of the gallon tins in stock I will be able to apply that over what I have done and then continue on to coat other parts of my on-site van. As I also work in building management I will also use this product professionally if it works out as I expect it will.

Product must be out of date

I bought the product a month or so ago and opened it two days ago. It is not like a paint, it is very, very thick and after stirring for maybe 30 minutes it was still too thick to roll out. I had to add water to thin it but it was still impossible to apply an even layer, it needs to be troweled on it is that thick. The instructions say that it can be applied with a sprayer, there is no way at all that it could be sprayed, brushed or rolled on! I haven’t seen it since it was rained on in the afternoon after I applied it but I’m not at all confident that it won’t all now need to be removed somehow. Hopefully Carac come to the party with warranty when I contact them tomorrow. Interesting that I paid $130 and, although it is out of stock, it is listed at $285 now!
